4) CHILDREN OF WHICH AGE GROUPS ARE ADMITTED FOR DAY-CARE ?
As a policy, considering the School Team's ability to shoulder the responsibility of looking after children entrusted to their care by parents, efficiently, the School accepts infants from the age of 6 MONTHS ONWARDS.
There is NO UPPER AGE LIMIT, and the School conducts various age -appropriate activities for children throughout the week. -
5) DO YOU WELCOME PARENT INVOLVEMENT ? CAN I STOP BY UNANNOUNCED ?
The answer to both is a resounding “YES" !!
Our School is a community that embraces the whole family.
If you’d like to get an inside look at your child at play or in the classroom, you are more than welcome to stop by anytime, even without any prior information !! -
6) WHAT TYPES OF ACTIVITIES DO YOU OFFER FOR INFANTS & TODDLERS ?
We provide age-appropriate activities, both indoors and outdoors, to stimulate the minds of infants and toddlers, and to promote motor and social skills development.
Drawing, painting, craft activities, music and dance, circle time, movie time, story telling, rhymes etc, are conducted as a matter of normal routine, creating one large happy family of children, fully enjoying their time spent at the School's Day Care Center. -
7) HOW OFTEN DO YOU CLEAN THE ROOMS & TOYS ?
All of our rooms have cleaning schedules for different areas of the classroom throughout the week.
If a teacher sees a child cough, sneeze or put a toy in their mouth the toy goes directly into the sink in the classroom to be cleaned and sanitized.
The infant room is cleaned twice a day, and the changing areas and bathrooms are disinfected after each diaper change. -
8) WHAT IS YOUR POLICY REGARDING SICK CHILDREN ?
In order to keep our children, their families and our staff as healthy as possible, without spread of any infection, we mandate that any child with fever, vomiting, diarrhoea, or contagious disease be strictly kept at home.
The same goes for our team members too. -
9) HOW DO YOU COMMUNICATE WITH PARENTS ?
The Daycare Supervisors maintain a Daily Journal for infants, toddlers and Preschoolers (who transit to Day-Care once the School gets over) which documents feedings, naps, diaper/potty times, activities and other important notes.
When parents pick-up their children, this daily journal is checked and acknowledged by every parent.. -
10) WHAT IF SOMEONE OTHER THAN MY SPOUSE/PARTNER OR ME HAS TO PICK UP MY CHILD ?
In order to protect your child, we require that :
a> You provide the names of any individual who has your permission to pick up your child
b> An advance notice from you when someone other than a family member will be picking up your child
c> We will check identification of the concerned person. If we have any questions or concerns, we would call you & seek your confirmation before allowing the child to be picked up in by the concerned person. -
